pretty epic approach for a catalogue.
using a video which you can click on clothes and then be taken to the website to ‘shop’ for them.
intel visual life - the satoralist.
the man behind the lense on what makes him choose a moment to capture.
i love a good street style blog. i used to be a fan of lookbook until it was full of people who had clearly spent hours crafting their outfit and then another few hours photo shopping their images into trendy perfection.
coggles (which is an awesome online store i stumbled across through the asos website of all places) has their own street style blog. it’s refreshingly raw and understated. and yet apparently the uk’s largest street style blog.
my aim is to be one of these people. keep an eye out for me on the blog.
he may be a tumblr cliche but this guy is mint. he deserves a post.
bad ass fashion for a silver fox.

loving topshop’s tumblr.
tumblr is a great medium for brands to connect online and the brilliant part about this one, is that topshop are not just focusing on their own products. they’re photographing interesting fashion and people in london (at london fashion week at the moment) to inspire their followers and ultimately drive them to topshop for the latest trends.
i thought i was doing relatively ok with my career until i stumbled across nirrimi hakanson. a photographer from queensland, she starting shooting when she was 13. by 18 she’s already been commissioned to work on campaigns for brands such as diesel, billabong and commbank.
her work is ah-mazing - beautifully composed and a little bit vintage.

it’s raining and it’s dark and everyone is hungover, so my inspiration is a little moodier today.
frances bean cobain.
i dont know what it is about these photos but they’re kickass. they’re intense, wild and a bit haunting. but would we care as much if she weren’t kurt cobain’s daughter? probably not.
new google service - google catalogs. an app that enables people to download catalogs for different shops, including food and fashion. if you like something, you are taken to the website to purchase, or it will find it for you in a nearby store.
love ASOS’ use of their youtube channel. interviewing bands, fashion icons and everyday people on their style and what inspires them.
and well.. i just love ASOS.
let’s kick off, shall we?
diesel have launched a new website with the concept of what the diesel island would look like if it ever existed, (i.e. a lot of hunky people in nice clothes). an interesting way to showcase the season range, and good use of navigation in the website to flick between lines of clothing.
